Pilates is an excellent practice for many of our clients within the process of rehabilitation – especially it seems when it comes to recovery from episodes of back and neck pain. Our team has a fantastic eye for movement, spotting inaccuracies and imbalances, and then working on them with precision and patience until awareness and control are achieved.

Ann qualified in 1993 with a BSc Physiotherapy from Brunel University. She completed rotations at two London hospitals gaining experience in all areas of physiotherapy before specialising as a senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. Her career has taken her in many directions including work in a specialist Amputee Unit in London, with Aboriginal communities in Australia’s Northern Territory and a team leader role in a community Outpatient department in Sussex.

Since moving to Kent with her family in 2009 Ann has worked mainly in Private Practice. She is skilled in all aspects of Manual Therapy for both spinal and peripheral conditions, including sports injuries. She has a special interest in neck pain and headaches and also has extensive experience of treating the specific concerns of Hypermobile clients.

Ann has used Acupuncture as part of her practice for 25 years and is a big advocate of its potential to enhance healing, provide natural pain relief and promote relaxation. She is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Fiona graduated as a physiotherapist in 2000 and is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). She has 11 years of experience working as a specialist physiotherapist for the Royal Air Force and as a team physiotherapist for Icarus FC, the RAF Officers’ football club.

Fiona also has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of children with dyspraxia, handwriting difficulties, and other coordination problems. Fiona qualified as a Dru Yoga teacher in 2006 and as a Dru Meditation teacher in 2018. She also teaches Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra and passionately believes in yoga’s therapeutic benefits.

Alison graduated in 1987 in Cape Town, South Africa, with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) degree. She subsequently worked in hospitals and private practice in both South Africa and the UK.

Her special interest is in ‘muscle as a source of pain’ and she has spent several years lecturing on this subject throughout the UK. She is registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professions Council and recognised by several private health insurance companies.

Katharine graduated as a Physiotherapist from Kings College London in 1998 and has worked extensively in both the NHS in London and East Kent and private practice in London, South Wales and Kent.

She specialises in both manual therapy and rehabilitation and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She is an educator and mentor for physiotherapy students. She loves being active and is passionate about helping others stay active too.

Rob graduated as a physiotherapist in New Zealand in 1982. He has worked in private practice in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK for many years.
